Luxury gay
guest house
in beautiful Piemonte

The Cascina past & present

Our boutique guest house is located in a former Cascina (a farmhouse where wine was made). The Cascina has been converted into a luxury guest house with three suites and living space for the hosts, all with beautiful panoramic views onto the Monferrato Hills and Alps.

Surrounding the Cascina is 14.000 m2 of flat and sloping land. We created a luxury pool, parking area and garden and we plan to extend it with a vegetable plot and fruit trees in the near future.

Devoted father of four adult children from a previous marriage. Passionate home cook, likes to bake and take care of others. Gardening, reading paper books and his love for his cats complete the picture.

Living in Italy with Martijn, running the Cascina, baking and taking care of the vegetable plot & fruit trees is his ultimate dream come true.

We ask all our guests to follow house protocol. They ensure everyone has a great stay.

House Protocol

In general

The Piemonte has long dry periods. For safety reasons, open fires, candles, etc. are not allowed on the premises.

Although we love animals (we have 3 cats), we cannot have your pet stay with us.

We kindly ask you to respect the period of silence between 11:00PM and 9:00AM.

And most important, enjoy your stay!

Safety & security

By italian law we are a non smoking facility, though you may smoke outside on your private terrace using the ash trays provided.

For safety reasons we ask you not to use fire, candles, incense, etc. in your suite.

To safeguard your posessions and ours, please leave all doors closed and locked when you leave your suite.

The environment

The italian countryside does not have a central sewage system. Therefor a biological system is installed at our property. To keep it clean and prevent blockage (an expensive repair), we ask you not to throw anything in the WC other than toilet paper.

To help protect the environment and safe planet resources we ask you to use electricity and/or water sensibly.

Your suite & the premises

Your suite is not equipped for self catering, so it is not possible to prepare a meal in your suite, but just ask to use the outdoor kitchen.

You cannot invite guests or organize a party or event at the premises unless agreed with us in advance.

Please do not allow our cats to go into your suite.

If something breaks or is in need of repair, let us know. We strive to resolve things quickly.
